We are looking to employ a maintenance supervisor with an outstanding knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance. A maintenance supervisor is expected to have fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will display natural leadership and possess fantastic communication skills with a great eye for detail.
The ideal maintenance supervisor responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing all leaks, plumbing, electrical and mechanical issues that arise.
- Resourceful but keep a well-stocked and very organized maintenance shop.
- Upbeat and can-do positive attitude with the ability to build and lead a small team.
- Prioritize, organize, complete and assign work orders to team and self.
- Must have a vehicle and all tools necessary to complete work.
- Provide training to coworkers and lead by example.
- Work well and consult regularly with Property and Regional managers on issues that occur.
Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (highly advantageous).
- 2 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor (essential).
- Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Effective budgeting and performance management.
