The building lead maintenance tech should have a thorough knowledge of boilers and chillers to maintain the building. Knowledge should include knowing how to do basic troubleshooting or when to consult with the property and regional manager if a vendor should be called, logging of all gauges, pressure switches, etc.
Responsibilities will include:
- Repairing/replacements of domestic water, sewer and hot water lines.
- Diagnosis and changing of vanities, toilets, faucets, stems and diverters.
- Change of lights, outlets and switches.
- Ability to make necessary sheetrock, spackle and paint repairs.
- Appliance repairs for washers, dryers, ovens, ranges and dishwashers.
- Ability to lift and deliver all incoming deliveries to their proper places.
- Ability to renovate units as needed (trash out, demo walls, rerun. wiring, lay flooring, install kitchens, run water and sewer lines, toilets and vanities).
- Being on-call every other weekend or as needed.
- Being a real team player.
- Must have own tools.
